My Summer Abroad

Where I Went! | Scotland | England | Belgium | Amsterdam | France | France 2
Brussels, Belgium

2 days in Brussels for some educational stuff, but I don't remember that.

After quite a few margaritas

We didn't spend too much time in Brussels, but I enjoyed the time we did spend there. My favorite thing about Brussels was the square. It was beautiful. Sadly though, I didn't take any pictures. The first night we were there we went to the square and watched as the main building in the square, a beautiful old decorative building, was lit up by hundreds of lights that flashed in time to lovely orchestra music. It was breathtaking. I absolutley loved it. My other fond memory of Brusses was of Chi Chi's Tex-Mex resturaunt. You wouldn't think much of a tex mex place in belgium, but I had the best fajitas I've ever had over there. The margaritas weren't as good, but as you can see, they still got to us.

Cydney and Greg, what a cute couple

I shared a room with Cydney in Brussels, however, I hadn't planned on sharing a room with Greg too. But, what can you do when two people are smitten with eachother and he flew all the way from London to be with her. It was a lot of fun though. The three of us even took a little day trip to Amsterdam. It was not fun, however, having to track them down and find them 10 minutes before our bus left. But, what can ya do?
